Life Cycle Management across the Supply Chain
The role of Configuration and Change Management
The 3rd Conference of the British Computer Society Configuration
Management Specialist Group (BCS CMSG) will be held 15 & 16 May, 2007,
at the Oxford Belfry Hotel.
The conference will bring together managers and practitioners
working in Change, Configuration and Release management.
Presentations by practitioners and world leaders in the field will
cover a wide variety of topics. The conference objectives are to
encourage the cross fertilisation of Change, Configuration
Management and Release Management best practices throughout the life
cycle and across the supply chain. We welcome both newcomers and old
hands to the BCS CMSG sharing experiences and lessons learnt.

Venue
Oxford is a historic and interesting city. The Oxford Belfry Hotel is
within easy reach of the city or the M40 motorway.
Conference Programme
The conference programme will consist of plenary, parallel, poster
and workshop sessions in Change, Configuration and Release management.
In addition, panel discussions, special interest group sessions, vendor
displays, exhibits, demonstrations and meetings and other related
gatherings will be scheduled. The conference schedule will provide time
for relaxed social and professional interaction.
Submissions should be relevant to the conference themes. The CMSG
would particularly like to hear from potential speakers sharing their
own experiences.
Submitting papers for the Conference – by 29 January 2007
If you are interested please submit a proposal for a paper and
include sufficient detail to make the audience, meaning and value of the
session clear. r.

All works submitted will be assigned to three committee members for
peer review. The results of this review will determine whether a work
will be accepted for plenary, parallel or poster presentation.
Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 5 February, 2007. Authors
retain the copyright to all submitted work and, by submitting, grant
permission for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
