release
Paul Bowden, Consultant, MKS
In even moderately sized businesses it is unlikely one person or group
has a global view of software assets such as source code, documentation,
plans, designs. This lack of visibility hampers efforts to reuse assets.
Effectively making these assets accessible can significantly shorten project
lifecycles and reduce the risk of delays. This presentation describes a
practical system to catalogue assets in a repository and make them available
for reuse across the enterprise to different user communities in a scalable
manner.
Paul is specialises in SCM implementation and process automation.
