Configuration and Service Management - the ITIL Way
Sponsored by Serena and CA
There are various ways of looking at Configuration Management. The aim of
this seminar is to demonstrate how the discipline is viewed within the world
of ITIL (the Information Technology Infrastructure Library). ITIL is a set
of best practices standards for IT Service Management, created in response
to the growing dependence on Information Technology to meet business needs
and goals. ITIL provides businesses with a customisable framework of best
practices to achieve quality service and overcome difficulties associated
with the growth of IT systems.
